The hope for this page is that Phene can have a private record of his own daily assessment. Last year we met at the close of the school day to run down the paper list of expected and unexpected behaviors. The last thing a student wants to do is take the remaining five or ten minutes out of his day to meet with his teacher to hurriedly assess how the day went. Often we would just check one or two things without dedicating the time that the reflection process really deserved. Hopefully this model will allow Phene to access the page in his own time at the end of the day and honestly reflect on how the day went. From home he could sum up his day and then we would meet on Fridays to discuss the week at large highlighting what he did well and outlining a plan for the upcoming week with some identifiable goals.
